Holidays and Breaks

Some photographs from Crom, Lough Erne. by Stephen Scott

We've been enjoying the summer holidays aboard our boat and at the beginning of this week we headed for Crom on Lough Erne. We ended up there for two beautiful days with stunning sunsets on both evenings.

I got to test out several of my lens as well as the camera body as I get completely comfortable with them. These photographs were taken with with the Nikkor 16-35 f/4 VR, Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8 VR ll and also the Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 VR Micro. The sunset photographs are bracketed shots but even so the dynamic range and image quality have again been superb. Any problems have been with the guy behind the camera!

Enjoy the photographs and enjoy whatever you are doing for your summer holidays!

County Donegal for our wedding anniversary by Stephen Scott

11 years ago on the 15/06/2004 I married the love of my wife, Gillian Scott, and so every year we try and go away for a few days around our anniversary without the kids.

This year we went to our usual haunt of Donegal and in particular Killybegs. This time my back was particularily bad which very much limited were or what we could do but thankfully we had a room with a beautiful view over the harbour so we could watch the fishing boats coming and going.

It also gave me a chance to try out my new Nikon equipment for the first time. More about that on a blog post soon!
